Award-winning, innovative Chef, featured on TV with an exceptional record of service and
strong history of culinary creations. My name is Gregory Evans and I am the founder and head
chef of Kulinary Kings.
My love of cooking developed as a child spending time with my mother in the kitchen. I am self-
proclaimed “mama’s boy”. She was a single mom and didn’t have much but she was a great
cook and could make what seemed like a gourmet meal out of the simplest ingredients. After
taking some detours in life, I decided to pursue what really made me happy . . . cooking. When
I experienced a job lay-off a few years ago, I realized that life is too short and decided to
pursue my passion of cooking. I often say the kitchen saved me as it has taught me patience, discipline and has
become my “voice”. I try to return my blessings to my local community by doing pro- bono work,
hiring/mentoring young men and women who grew up in a similar situation as me as well as offering an
affordable but unique dining experience to the urban communities.
Growing up food was always an outlet and I love being able to use it now as a vehicle to
positively influence others.
